Meet Dr. John Jungers Background: Dr. Jungers graduated in 1994 from the University of Delaware with a pre medical degree in Nutrition Science. While at the university, he taught sports nutrition and diet planning for Dr. Jack Smith, PhD, Chair for the Department of Nutrition. Dr. Jungers furthered his studies at the prestigious National University of Health Sciences, receiving a bachelors in Human biology in 1996 and a Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1998. Dr. Jungers has been in private practice in Colorado since 1999. He opened his first practice in Lakewood in 2000 under the name Colorado Chiropractic Health Center, P.C. Anne Harston, CMT Anne received a B.A. from Metropolitan State College in Physical Education and Sports Medicine. She worked for four years as an athletic trainer and physical therapy assistant for the Denver Broncos Sports Medicine group. Anne furthered her education at Cottonwood School of Massage, earning certification as a licensed massage therapist. Anne has over ten years of clinical experience as a massage therapist. Specialties - Anne specializes in sports massage, deep tissue and neuromuscular massage. Anne has a family-based practice and also caters to the specific needs of athletes. Michelle Nelson, CMT Michelle earned her B.S. from the University of Northern Colorado with a double major in Fitness & Exercise Kinesiology and Dietetics. She worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and fitness instructor for four years before going back to school for massage therapy. Michelle graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2000. She returned to receive a certification in Cranial Sacral therapy in 2002, giving her over 1,000 hours of massage therapy training. Michelle continues to receive training through Manual Therapy Seminars of Colorado as well as other continuing educaion seminars.
